In the summer of 2023, CertaPro Painters of Central Arkansas undertook a significant project at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute, situated atop the picturesque Petit Jean Mountain in Morrilton, AR. Over the course of three weeks, our dedicated team transformed the exterior of this esteemed facility, ensuring that its appearance now matches its prestigious reputation.

Upon our initial assessment, it was evident that the building’s exterior bore the brunt of harsh weather conditions. The once-vibrant paint had dulled, succumbing to the relentless wind, rain, and occasional snow. Signs of wear were apparent, with rust marking some areas and a general buildup of dirt and debris. Understanding the importance of not just aesthetic revitalization but also long-term protection, our team embarked on a meticulous process of rejuvenation.

We began by thoroughly washing the exterior to strip away years of accumulated grime. Areas suffering from rust and severe weathering received special attention, with targeted priming to ensure a solid foundation for the new coat of paint. Our task was extensive, covering 30,000 square feet of siding, which included both wood and metal surfaces. The choice of materials and techniques was guided by the dual objectives of restoring the institute’s grandeur and fortifying it against future environmental challenges.
