Commercial Case Study
Our painting contractors have the skill and experience you need to update any commercial space. Recently, our team was contacted by Flynco Construction to renovate three of Central Arkansas Christian Schools campuses in Little Rock and two campuses’ in North Little Rock. You can learn more about this painting project below.
CHALLENGES:
The challenges of this project included working on tight timeline, working around ceiling grid contractor, flooring contractor, electricians updating all the lighting, data technicians moving data cables and installing new smart boards, and custom color matching purple lockers for the purple accent walls color.
CONDITIONS:
We worked on three different campuses. Secondary Campus (high school), Pleasant Valley Elementary, and NLR Elementary. The size of all three location put together would somewhere around 70-80 total square feet under roof. We painted around 70 classroom and about 1400 feet of hallways between all three campuses. All ceilings were drop in ceilings. The building was a little dated when we started the work. It had your typical damage to the sheetrock walls that required skim coating and mud work to repair the damaged areas. As for the block walls most of those were in decent shape, and mostly needed some caulking on old holes and cracks in the blocks. The colors were a yellow/tan color on most of the walls. Lighting and flooring was also out dated.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
The project involved working on a very tight schedule in order to get all the work done before school started. We painted walls, sprayed acrylic dryfall on all ceiling grid, painted metal door frames, and painted some cabinets. In most all of the classrooms three of the wall would be a light gray color and one wall would be a purple accent which is the schools colors. In the hallways, one side of the hallway would light gray while the other darker gray with some purple accents thrown in there as well.
PROJECT TIMELINE – Started: Summer 2021 Duration: 10 Weeks
