Commercial Case Study
MRH Enterprise LLC - Dublin Acres
Problem To Be Solved:
MRH Enterprises, LLC came to us in 2021 to paint a total of 104,665 square feet of stucco on all 8 residential buildings including the pump house at Dublin Acres HOA Community in Dublin, PA. The project also included painting one mail kiosk located at the main entrance. The stucco on all buildings was faded and The Board was looking to protect the stucco and update the color.
Problem Solver Solution:
Due the age of the pumphouse, the Board was concerned that the pump would not be able to support a pressure washing project of the magnitude needed; therefore, a water truck and was brought in and the buildings were professionally washed. Once cleaned, cracks in the stucco were repaired with elastomeric caulk and all the stucco was coated using Sherwin Willams CONFLEX Elastomeric Coating. A 60-foot lift was used due to the height and to expedite the painting process.
Prior to painting, the Board had narrowed down their color choice to five colors. In order to assist them with choosing a final color, we painted five square blocks on the side of the pumphouse which allowed the Board to easily see all the colors on a larger scale and make a selection.
Final Result:
Throughout the project, there was constant communication with both the Board and management company. In the end, everyone was happy with the final result and the new stucco siding color really “popped” against the existing trim color.
