Commercial Facility Painting – Bookstore in Lancaster, PA

In the vibrant city of Lancaster, our clients dreamed of a bookstore on Prince Street. We were hired to give this commercial unit a warm, unique atmosphere. Our project involved painting all surfaces, repairing walls, doors, windows, and ceilings, and restoring worn wood surfaces. Our goal was to refresh this versatile space and make it look brand new.

About the Project:

Project Involvement: 

The project encompassed extensive painting, covering all surfaces, including walls, doors, windows, and the ceiling, along with substantial repairs to ensure a uniformly smooth finish. Given its history as a commercial space with various uses, our task was to restore it to a pristine condition. Some walls featured deep red hues, and the wood surfaces were in significant disrepair. To facilitate the transition from darker colors to a neutral palette, we applied a tinted primer. We also matched the customer’s preference for “BEHR Cameo White” for the walls, ceiling, and wood surfaces.

Special Techniques: 

We used both spraying and rolling techniques to achieve a consistent finish across all surfaces. Collaborating effectively with other contractors was crucial to maintain project timelines, ensuring that activities such as flooring installation and moving weren’t delayed.
