About the Project:

Project Involvement: 

Our scope of work included tasks such as cleaning and preparing the ceilings, walls, doors, trim, and the removal of cove base, followed by the application of a fresh two-tone color scheme. Additionally, we were tasked with adding a distinctive blue line stripe, extending two cinder blocks high, around the perimeter of both welding rooms. To ensure a polished finish, we also cleaned and color-matched the heavily used individual welding stalls before applying a uniform coat of flat gray paint.

Special Challenges: 

The challenges we faced were, because of the elevated ceiling height and extensive preparation required, we utilized a 26-foot scissors lift for this project. The safety of our crew was paramount, and they were equipped with Tyvek Suits and respirators while cleaning the ceilings with blowers. This precaution was essential due to the accumulation of soot and debris over the years. To meet the project’s timeline, our team worked diligently, mindful of the impending installation of new flooring that was scheduled to commence shortly thereafter.
