Barbara Hershfelt is a Kirkwood native. For over 35 years, she worked in sales and marketing, developing and strengthening her strategic planning, management, leadership, partnerships, and brand positioning skills.
With experience in various companies ranging from Fortune 100 to small upstarts, Barbara found she loved working with smaller, more entrepreneurial organizations because she could actively grow their sales and market share. However, after decades of working for others, she decided it was time to use her experience and start her own business.
That’s when Barbara discovered CertaPro Painters®. As the general manager, production supervisor, and commercial sales executive of CertaPro Painters® of Kirkwood, MO, Barbara focuses on building strong teams through open communication, training, trust, and empowerment. Additionally, she strives to create an entrepreneurial environment focused on results and have meaningful conversations with consumers to gain insights. Most importantly, she wants to form strong relationships in the community.
When she’s not working, you can find Barbara networking, traveling (and sharing her wanderlust with family and friends), cooking, enjoying a glass of wine, working on her garden, or cheering her daughter on in field hockey.
Barbara lives in her turf with her daughter and two dogs.
