Commercial Project Highlight

In this case study, we recap a commercial painting project that took place in July of 2022 for the Royersford Spring Company. We detail the highlights from this project below:

Describe the condition of the facility/surfaces at the time work began.

Parts of the tower were very rusty and required a lot of sanding. Parts of the tower were also corroded and required a welder (which the company took care of).

What did the project involve? 

• Scrape/electric sand entire tower
• Prime w/ metal primer
• Paint with DTM

How long did the project take, start to finish?

The project was completed in one week.

Were there any special challenges involved?

We needed a boom lift since the area we had to get to was very narrow. The weather was a challenge, but thankfully it only rained once and did not cause a delay in production.

Did the project require any special equipment or techniques?

We needed to use a boom lift.
