In this case study, we recap a commercial painting project that took place in July of 2023 for a HOA community in Lansdale, PA. We worked with Reese Management Company and detail the highlights from this project below:

Describe the condition of the facility/surfaces at the time work began.

The HOA requested we update the juliets and decks within their community, due to decks chipping paint and having loose nails, while the juliets were rusting.

What did the project involve?

  • For the decks, our crew set up, prepped, stained, and replaced any rotted wood.
  • For the juliets, we set up, prepped, sanded rusted areas, spot primed, and painted. The juliets also had to be removed from the building and sprayed in an open area.

How long did the project take, start to finish?

The project took approximately 3 weeks to complete.

Were there any special challenges involved?

Initially, we didn’t plan on removing the juliets from the buildings, but after completing a few, our expert team of painters decided that it was best to remove them because of the spindles being too close together.

Did the project require any special equipment or techniques?

Our team sanded the juliets by hand, instead of using our sanding machine, because of the limited space available between spindles.
