Katy Residential Interior Remodel, Repair & Painting Project

The Homeowner was in the process of transferring to Katy and found a house that was interesting but in need of updating. They contacted CertaPro Painters of Katy to review options for painting and remodeling. Our team coordinated with their Realtor to schedule an estimate in order to provide pricing and options for the Homeowner to update this house and make it a home!

The walls had minor cracks and holes in the sheetrock and separation of the seam tape in the ceiling. These minor cracks and holes were patched and repaired prior to painting. Some interior paint colors were quite bold and didn’t align with the Homeowner’s taste, other paint colors were quite dated. CertaPro worked with the Homeowner to choose colors that worked for them.

The interior had archways that the homeowner found to be dated. These arches were removed and squared to provide a more modern look and feel to the house. Once completed, the surfaces needed to be textured to match the existing walls in the rest of the home. Removing archways and squaring them to look more modern requires skills, patience, and a great deal of experience. The archways were cut away, the drywall replaced, floated, and then textured to match the rest of the home. After minor remodeling and repairs, the ceilings, walls, doors, and trim were all painted. The CertaPro Painters of Katy team expertly undertook this challenge and, in the process, exceeded the Homeowner’s vision for the home.
