CertaPro Painters® of Katy, TX was hired to repaint a local church classroom that had previously served as a youth sanctuary. Over time, the space had developed noticeable scuffs and wear, with bright, bold colors no longer fitting the church’s needs. The church decided to renovate the room to better suit an older demographic. The CertaPro Painters® of Katy, TX team consulted with the church staff to present repair options and coordinate the commencement of the work.

Our work began with surface preparation, including patching and texturing minor cracks and holes in the sheetrock. The crew also repaired areas where TV mounts had been removed. To ensure full coverage of the previous vibrant colors, we applied a high-quality primer before finishing the walls with a fresh, clean white.

The primary challenge of this project was the tight timeline. The church regularly used this space on Sundays, Wednesdays, and occasionally Saturdays, meaning our team had only two days to complete the work. We started on a Monday and completed the project by Tuesday, ensuring the paint had ample time to dry before the room’s next use.
