NAPA Auto & Truck Parts

NAPA Auto & Truck Parts is a distribution center located in Greensboro, NC. In July 2021, CertaPro Painters® of Greensboro was hired to update the building’s exterior.

The problem to be solved:

When our exterior painting professionals were hired to refresh the distribution center’s appearance, the exterior paint was faded, peeling, and badly chalking. There were also significant caulk failures in the expansion joints. Because the building is an administrative center, distribution center, and working store, there was constant traffic around the space while we worked. Additionally, there were weather challenges throughout the project. Aside from a few rainy days, there were also days when the temperatures were very high.

Problem solver solution:

This job was separated into two different projects and took about three weeks to complete. Before we began painting, we pressure washed and scraped to clean the building’s surface and remove any loose paint. Then, we primed the walls we were going to work on and finished with two coats of paint. On very hot days, we started our paint application much earlier in the morning to ensure the surface temperature was within the application specification and could be applied properly.

Final result:

Our team cleaned up the exterior appearance of NAPA Auto & Truck Parts and made it fresh and vibrant once again.
