Kitchen Cabinet Painting in East Grand Rapids, MI

CertaPro Painters of Grand Rapids was hired to repaint kitchen cabinets and the dining area of a home in East Grand Rapids in March 2024 as part of a complete kitchen remodel. Original cabinets were in solid condition. Overall, the kitchen was in good shape and needed some work to bring the cabinets back to new.

We took extra time and caution to properly prep the room, cabinets and surrounding area before painting and spraying the cabinets to give a professional finish. Cabinets were sanded down to strip the previous brown color to be prepped with primer and paint. Prep work was important given that we were going from a darker color to a lighter shade of Gray.

 

The cabinet painting for this job was one of the steps involved, including new flooring, and painting window frames, with the thought of updating the appliances. The paint used was a “Popular Gray” on the top cabinets with a “Perfect Greige” on the bottom. The complete project took a total of six days.
