In late 2020, CertaPro Painters® of Grand Rapids completed a distinctive interior project for a private underground bunker in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. The homeowners wanted to refresh the space, including the ceiling and walls, while also installing a durable, high-performance epoxy floor that could withstand heavy use. Our team prepped and painted all walls and ceilings with Sherwin-Williams Loxon XP in Shoji White, delivering a clean, bright, and uniform finish.
The flooring portion included just over 2,200 square feet, where a custom epoxy blend was applied using expert techniques to ensure a flawless, glossy surface. The epoxy not only enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the bunker but also provided long-lasting durability and chemical resistance. The completed project gave the space a refreshed, modern appearance while showcasing the CertaPro team’s ability to tackle unique and challenging environments.
