Brigalias

An Event Space in Sicklerville, NJ

Brigalias, a wedding/event venue in Sicklerville, NJ, asked CertaPro Painters® of Gloucester and Salem Counties to assist with a commercial painting project in August 2022.

When we started the project, the building was in decent shape; however, there was mold in certain areas. To address the issues, we needed to do surface prep work, including minor stucco repair, caulking, and scraping of chipped paint. After this, we pressure washed and painted the facility.

Since this is an event space, our crew of painters only had access to the building Monday through Thursday. When we stopped work on Thursday, we had to make sure the building looked great, and all equipment was not visible.

The building has many structural elements with intricate details, such as balconies and columns, which made some parts of the project challenging. There are also vines on parts of the building, and the owner did not want to remove them. Our crew had to carefully paint around them without damaging them.

To complete the project, our crew of painters had to use a boom lift. When operating the lift, we had to be careful of the pavers in front of the building. Our crew was smart enough to lay down thick pieces of plywood for the lift to drive over. We also had to cover and protect the slat and pavers through as well.

The process took six days to complete.
