CertaPro Painters® of The West Valley was contacted in November 2021 to add a fresh coat of paint to a modular home in Buckeye, Arizona. The home was fading in color and required a professional touch to return it to its former glory.
Since the previous color was such a bold, dark red, it was essential our team of experts used the right materials, including plenty of primer, to ensure the color did not bleed through. After just one day of work, the home looked as good as new.

CHALLENGES:Each painting project presents its own unique set of challenges. While this was a smaller project in terms of scale, there were other things our professionals had to be aware of. Our ample amount of previous experience and communication with those involved with the project it possible to finish the project quickly and efficiently.
Our team was specifically tasked with replacing the fading red color that was applied to the modular home previously.
CONDITIONS
- Fading Paint – The entire unit had fading paint caused by natural weathering and use of the home.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
- Preparation – CertaPro’s team collaborated to create an efficient plan to complete the project. We worked to make sure there were as little disruption as possible to those occupying the modular unit.
- Priming – Plenty of primer was required to ensure the previous color would not bleed through. This was especially challenging because of the transformation from a dark red to a tan.
