Fun Kitchen Paint Colors

Posted on September 26, 2021

The kitchen is more than just a space for food preparation and clean up. It is typically the place where the family’s conversations take place and where memories are made. So now, more than ever, it is important to have a kitchen space you enjoy spending time in. In fact, it has become so important, that when people are searching for a home the kitchen alone can be a deal breaker for them. So, can you enhance your kitchen space? Color is everything! Our team here at CertaPro Painters® of Gainesville meets with many homeowners who come up creative paint schemes to make their kitchens unique and fun. If you are looking for some different kitchen color ideas you may find some inspiration here. Here are some fun kitchen color combo ideas to ensure your kitchen will be a place you love to spend time in!

Coral – You can probably only get away with this one here in Florida but that is what makes the color even more unique! It is a feminine pop of color but can be easily mellowed out with plants and wicker furniture.

Yellow – Yellow is a favorite among many homeowners and we can see why. Is there a happier more welcoming color than yellow? Not that we can think of! Add white and gold accents throughout the kitchen to complete the room.

Light Blue – Blue is a popular color choice in homes but usually not in kitchens. Add a fun pop of color while still keeping things fairly neutral. We personally love a light blue paint on the cabinets paired with white accents.

Black – Homeowners are sometimes intimidated by black paint but when done right it looks chic and classy. We especially love black accents in light colored wood kitchens.

Dark Teal – If you like the edgy, mysterious style but aren’t ready to commit to black, this is the next best option.

Red – Go for a retro feel and use a black white and red color palette. Add some patterned tiles to the floor and you will have a kitchen everyone is envious of!

Green – Think a sage green color. It adds the perfect pop of color. Keep everything else neutral adding little accents of the same color around the kitchen.

Pink – The right shade of pink of course. Think a light, blush shade. Paired with white and black accents this kitchen will look super modern. The pink will help open up the room and make it feel brighter as well.
