Local Campground Commercial Painting Project

In May 2023, CertaPro Painters of Brockton/Foxboro worked with The Salvation Army to paint the outside of the
Rec Hall at Camp Wonderland in Sharon. The Rec Hall is a large wood building used by Camp Wonderland
for activities during their annual Summer Camp programs for local children. It had been several years
since the exterior of the camp was painted and there were also several woodpecker holes in the siding and
trim.

What the Project Involved

Our crew, led by Job Site Supervisor Frank Reis, cleaned the exterior of the Rec Hall and repaired the holes
in the siding and trim boards. We then made a color match of the existing red siding and coated all four sides
with Sherwin-Williams Woodscapes Solid Stain. We also painted the exterior trim and doors, and we
coated the steps with Sherwin-Williams SuperDeck Solid Stain.

We were also asked to stain a new wood fence that surrounds another recreation space near the Rec Hall.
The crew used Cabot Semi-Solid Stain to coat and protect the fence which was installed about a year ago.

Our team worked to make sure the Rec Hall would be ready and looking great when the first round of Campers
arrived in June. From start to finish, the project took two weeks to complete.
