A School Cafeteria and Hallway Painting Project
With a very tight timeline CertaPro Painters of Northwest Arkansas won the bid to repaint a Farmington middle school’s cafeteria and hallways in order to provide a clean look and an area for any future decorative painting.
The problem to be solved:
While we were painting white over white we had to avoid any bleed through from previous decorative painting elements added to the walls. The areas in need of painting included a large and tall cafeteria and long hallways. The real challenge was that the work needed to be done within a tight timeline during winter break.
The Solution:
Proper preparation to avoid bleed-through, a tough, scuff resistant paint, and some portable staging combined with a crew of expert painters to get the job done easily inside of a week.
Final result:
The school was able to resume operation with a “blank slate” look that invites future custom decorative painting touches. Students and teachers returned to freshly painted hallways that were free of paint fumes and a cafeteria that was bright and inviting.
