In September 2019 CertaPro Painters® of Fayetteville, NC was hired to help with a refresh of multiple buildings, benches, and public areas on the Central Carolina Community College (CCC) campus. The scope of the project included 6 buildings, several benches, and bike racks around the campus. The team at CertaPro Painters® of Fayetteville, NC worked closely with campus facility managers to coordinate painting schedules to minimize disruption of day-to-day operations at the school.
CHALLENGES:
In addition to the campus being in use during the project, other trades were also on campus doing other types of projects. It was important to not interfere with either the students or the other campus maintenance projects.
CONDITIONS:
The exteriors were showing signs of wear, failing paint was present on most of the benches around campus and building exteriors were dirty.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
The project included painting, drywall repairs, and light carpentry work. Full cleaning of the entire campus as well as repainting of the trim, roof areas, railings, doors, windows trim, and bollards. Bollards were brought up to code with new colors.
Color refresh: Some of the new buildings had different color schemes than older buildings on campus. Part of the goals of this project was to update the colors on the older buildings to match the rest of the campus.

FINAL RESULTS
After the project was completed, the CertaPro Painters® of Fayetteville, NC team meticulously went over the finished areas of each location to make sure it met their high standards.
Outdoor Seating Area
The outdoor metal structures were cleaned and had rust removed then painted black
Outdoor Benches Painted
The project included painting for all of the outdoor benches on campus.
HVAC & Roof Exterior Painted
The rooftop HVAC equipment had failing and peeling paint. Now they look new after a fresh coat of paint.
Garage Doors & Bollards
These garage doors and bollards were restored with exterior painting services.
Front Entrance After Painting
The metal frame of this awning was cleaned and painted.
Painted Brick Exterior
Wilkinson Hall was updated with new colors to match other buildings on campus.
Exterior Details
Roof supports and drainage lines were painted to extend the life of the surfaces and provide a modern look.
Bulkhead Doors Painted
The bulkhead door was painted to match the benches and buildings on campus.
