About the Project
Condition of Facility:
This facility had not been painted in around 15 years or so, and was in need of a refresh. We removed the outdated wallpaper and changed the walls to a modern updated color scheme for a more aesthetically pleasing look for management, staff, & patrons.
Project Involvement:
This project involved light carpentry repairs such as patching surface cracks and holes, as well as the removal of the old and worn wallpaper. This process involved scraping to remove the wallpaper and backing, as well as cleaning the residual wallpaper glue. We had to then prep the walls and sand smooth before applying the primer and paint coats.
Special Challenges:
Due to this being an operational dentist office, our paint crew had to work overnight and weekend hours to complete the project without disrupting the facilities during normal business hours. Our crew had to be extra diligent in cleaning and putting the space back together every night to make sure the staff and patrons were not affected.
