Music Room Project in Fairfax,VA
CertaPro Painters® of Fairfax and Prince William was contacted by a Jewish day school to assist in the completion of their music room extension in February 2020. The walls of the added space required insulation and the erection of fire safe drywall. The constructed room would then be painted for an appealing finish, creating a wonderful environment to gather. CertaPro Painters® is equipped to not only handle paint requests, but also the construction and repair of your home or business.
CHALLENGES:
Completing projects for frequently used areas has its own set of unique challenges. Proper communication with the school’s management and coordination within the CertaPro team were important for an efficient and comfortable renovation process.
CHALLENGES:This particular project was also assigned through a general contractor. CertaPro’s team was required to work around other operations such as water proofing and window installation.
CONDITIONS AND PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
The recently renovated room needed to be insulated and walled. CertaPro Painters® used R-21 Kraft Faced fiberglass insulation and USG sheet rock to further the build of the day school extension.
After the drywall was hung, the room needed to be painted to heighten its aesthetics. The walls were coated with Sherwin Williams ProMar 200 Zero VOC Latex Primer primer and paint, providing an eggshell finish. The final result was a newly pieced together extension to the school, professionally built and painted by CertaPro’s team to match the needs of the customer.

THE FINAL RESULT
