What to Expect: Before & After Your Home Exterior Paint Project

A fresh exterior paint job will revitalize your home and increase curb appeal. At CertaPro Painters® of Oak Park/Chicago Central, IL we strive for the highest quality results with minimal disruption to your schedule. In order to make the process as easy and hassle free as possible, we recommend a few small steps for homeowners to take prior to the crew arriving. Here’s what you can do to ensure your home is prepared for the project.

Prior to the Project

Trim foliage. We want your landscaping to be protected from any potential overspray or dripping. In order to do so, we ask that any shrubs and bushes close to the home be trimmed. This will make the process much easier and more efficient.

Leave space for entrance and equipment. As the crew works around the home, they will need access to every side. Make sure all areas of your home are accessible. If any gates or barriers are blocking entrance, be sure the crew has a way to get through. Clear adequate space for ladders and other needed equipment by relocating any left out items.

Direct us to the hose spigot. The crew will need access to the hose for quick preparation and clean up. We ask that you have a hose available for us and point us to the spigot.

Post Project Clean Up

After completing your home painting project, the crew cleans up any paint chips and debris as best as possible. We replace shutters and remove all equipment from your property as well.
