Drywall Repair & Repaint in Chicago, IL
This photo was taken midway through a ceiling renovation project at a nursing home, completed by CertaPro Painters® of Chicago. The image shows a critical stage in the drywall ceiling replacement process, where a large central section of damaged ceiling was removed and replaced with new drywall. We installed three recessed LED lights along the corridor to improve visibility and safety for residents and staff.
At this phase, the new drywall is secured in place but not yet taped, mudded, or sanded. You can see the exposed seams and perimeter gaps—soon to be finished for a smooth, seamless look that blends into the surrounding ceiling. Blue painter’s tape protects the existing wall surfaces as our crew prepares for the next steps in refinishing.
