Challenges
The challenge of this project was that the brick exterior really soaked in the prime coat as it had never been painted before. It required some tedious rolling and cut-ins to make sure the paint adhered and has the longest possible lifespan.
CONDITIONS
The Armed Services YMCA of Hampton Roads was bare brick and had never been painted before. They wanted to modernize the look of their building.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT
- Preparation – This project involved power washing first. Once that was completed, we applied a prime coat.
- Painting – After priming the area, we used two finish coats to help make the building look like new!
