A room-by-room guide to our interior pricing:

Many homeowners want a clear understanding of how we price interior projects so they can plan their budget. We’ve put together this room-by-room guide to provide realistic ballpark estimates. These are average prices, and actual costs may vary based on several key factors.

In general, these things will affect the cost of the project:

1) The number of surfaces we’ll be painting – Are we painting just the walls, or will trim, doors, baseboards, and crown molding be included?

2) The condition of the surfaces – If your walls have lots of dings, scratches, or holes, more prep time will be required to fill and sand them. Specialized surfaces like horsehair plaster or wallpaper removal will also impact cost.

3) Wall height – An 8-foot ceiling is much easier (and faster) to paint than a 16-foot entryway or vaulted ceiling.

4) Color changes – If you’re switching to a color that’s significantly lighter or darker than the current one, additional coats may be needed. Most of our estimates include 2 coats when the new color is similar to the existing one. More extreme color changes may require 3 to 4 coats.

5) Free color consultation – Once you choose us as your painter, you’ll receive a complimentary visit from our in-home designer to help you pick colors that match your existing furnishings. This won’t affect your price—it’s part of our service.

6) Examples below are based on typical room sizes in Central San Antonio

These are just a few of the factors that go into pricing an interior painting project. Below, you’ll find examples based on common room sizes. Wall pricing includes two coats, while ceilings, trim, and doors include a one-coat refresh using mid-grade paints from trusted brands. Prices include standard surface prep. Final pricing may vary depending on how many rooms and surfaces are included in your project.

Our project minimum is $1,200 or above.
