CertaPro Painters® of Central San Antonio and the Hill Country, TX completed a fast-paced exterior repaint and siding repair project for a residential home in San Antonio, TX. The home featured Hardie plank siding and wood fascia, both of which had experienced years of wear from sun exposure and weather.
Before work began, the home’s exterior showed significant signs of aging. Paint across the siding and fascia had faded, chipped, and peeled, leaving surfaces vulnerable to moisture intrusion and potential rot.

Using professional-grade sprayers, the team applied a smooth, even coat of exterior paint across all siding surfaces. The wood fascia boards were then finished using brush and roller techniques for precision and a clean, detailed appearance.
CHALLENGES & SOLUTIONS:
One of the main challenges of the project was working efficiently within a tight 36-hour timeline while still allowing for proper drying between preparation and painting phases. Careful scheduling and coordination ensured each step was completed without compromising quality.
Accessing certain areas of the home also required the use of extension ladders, which the team used safely and efficiently to maintain consistent coverage across all elevations.
