In May 2021, CertaPro Painters® of Boulder and Longmont assisted a Longmont homeowner in transforming the exterior of their residence. The home was past due for maintenance painting and sections of siding boards were deteriorated, calling for the need of light carpentry to repair the exterior sections.
The siding board repair would bring back a smooth and sealed surface to the home, mitigating any concern of further damage. Compounded with the updated paint coats, CertaPro’s professionals were able to bring a safe and appealing home to life!
CHALLENGES
Each project has their own set of unique obstacles. This Longmont home required a careful look at the integrity of the exterior. Portions of the sideboard needed replaced to ensure a professional update to the home.
The home also required a full color change to alter its appearance. This provides a more difficult challenge than a same color update. The exterior requires meticulous efforts to secure a fully repainted surface with zero bleeding and missed spots.
CONDITION
- Outdated Paint Coat – The exterior of the residence was faded and worn due to lack of regular maintenance
- Failing Sideboards – Siding boards were warped, rotting, and expanding due to moisture exposure

- Painting – The exterior was repainted a bold new color, requiring multiple coats to achieve full coverage.
