Senior Living Center Commercial Painting Project in Longmont, CO
This senior living center is a 54-unit independent senior living facility. Located in a prime area of Longmont, it is a very high-end facility with luxury offerings. The facility was constructed in 2008 and had older style wallpaper in hallways, the dining room and other rooms. They wanted to freshen it up and provide a more modern style and appeal. This is when CertaPro Painters of Boulder and Longmont stepped in to do a full interior repaint project. CHALLENGES:
CHALLENGES:Due to the senior living facility being near maximum capacity, it required a significant
amount of coordination in the logistics, as well as maintaining a very organized and
orderly work space.
Specialty primer had to be used over wallpaper. In order to minimized disruption to residents, we used zero VOC and no odor paint.
We worked with a difficult production schedule given facility needs however, our team worked the night shift to cover several areas such as the dining room and foyer and lobby.
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Paint – Priming and painting over wallpaper and all common areas such as all hallways, staircases, dining room, library and large entry lobby and foyer.
- Drywall Repairs – Significant color changes selected and converted stained wood trim to painted trim.
- Interior Repairs – Full facility such as walls, ceilings, doors, frames and trim.

THE FINAL RESULTS
After the senior center paint project was completed, the facility was ecstatic with the work. Soon after, they had had us complete two subsequent projects at the same property.
