Commercial Case Study

Our painters were recently called out to two industrial facilities in Boulder County. Each of these building needed quite a few repairs. The two large tilt-up industrial buildings required a full exterior repainting, and extensive preparation in terms of scraping, caulking, and priming. These properties were located in Gunbarrel. CHALLENGES:

We bid the project 1 day after RFP. We started exactly one week after being awarded the project, and we completed this commercial painting service 8 days ahead of schedule. The client was ecstatic about the finished product and the timeline we were able to meet!

CONDITIONS:

It had been a long time since the industrial buildings were last painted. Each building had extensive peeling. There was even more extensive cracking of their concrete in several areas, plus failed caulk at slab joints.

PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:

Our painting contractors cut out and resealed 1+ inch slab joint gaps where prior seal had failed and was crumbling. Then we filled the cracked in concrete and primed all bare areas. After two complete coats applied over the top, the job was complete!
