I’m James Rafter, a Project Coordinator for CertaPro Painters® of Boulder and Longmont. I was born in Chicago, raised in Columbus, and have lived in Colorado for the past ten years. I played soccer and boxed at The University of Dayton and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology and a minor in Industrial Engineering Technology.
Post college, I was a sales engineer in the material handling industry, P/K in the National Minor Pro Football League and spent time with the Bills, Falcons, Browns and Saskatchewan Roughriders. Following my NFL adventures, I started a company coaching football and featuring camps, lessons, strength & conditioning and NCAA/NFL consulting and promoting. After twenty years of owning and operating Rafter Pro Training, I still enjoy coaching on weekends to work with local athletes and the CU Buffs football specialists.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and daughters in Superior, Boulder County and all around beautiful Colorado. We are very into exercise, skiing, music and sports events.
