Our painters were recently called out to a home in the Boulder service area for a residential painting service. The exterior was dated and in need of a new color scheme. Our team was able to bring the home exterior back to life and the homeowners were thrilled with our results. You can learn more details about this painting project below.
Project Involvement:
This home was outdated but in good condition. A combination of stucco and brick with tile roofing, the color scheme was warm tones that caused the home to blend with its surroundings. The client chose to have us paint the stucco in a white Sherwin-Williams Sherlastic which is a 100% acrylic elastomeric formula designed specifically for stucco surfaces that bridges hairline cracks and minimizes pinholes. The brick and trim were all painted black with the metal windows and doors painted in Sherwin-Williams Pro Industrial BondPlex which is a waterborne acrylic paint that is formulated for direct application to metal. The project gave the whole home a clean and modern update.
Special Challenges:
Special consideration had to be made for many of the materials the home was built with-a tile roof required careful execution while painting trim. Metal doors and window frames required a special paint system listed previously.
