Who owns CertaPro Painters of Boulder and Longmont?

Bob Schneider owns the franchise. He lives in Lafayette, Colorado with his wife and three sons (and black lab!). Their office is located at 5311 Western Ave, Suite 115, Boulder, CO 80301. He also owns the CertaPro Painters of Fort Collins franchise serving Larimer and Weld Counties, including Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, Windsor, and more. It is NOT owned by a big corporation.

What do you “own” when you own a CertaPro Painters franchise?

For residential painting:

Bob “owns” the zip codes of the towns in and around Boulder County and Weld County, such as Louisville/Superior, Erie, Lafayette, Boulder, Longmont, Firestone, etc. No other CertaPro franchisee can do residential painting in these zip codes.

For Commercial Painting:

Our franchise can paint anywhere – we have completed jobs in Steamboat Springs, Grand Junction, Denver, and Wyoming – if the right opportunity comes up, we’re on it! That’s why you’ll see our vehicles all over the Front Range and Colorado working on Commercial and Business Painting projects.

Does CertaPro cost more because it is a franchise?

NO! In fact, being part of the franchise system often makes us less expensive than our competition. For example, we can often negotiate better paint pricing with suppliers because of our combined national scale, and that better pricing gets passed on to you as the customer. Yes, we pay a royalty to the franchisor; however, much of that goes to software, marketing, and training. Any painting company of reasonable size will pay for all of those things as well on their own…often at a higher cost as a single purchaser. We have been serving clients locally in the Northern Colorado market for well over 20 years and have done it successfully for a number of reasons (including that we are very competitive on price).

A national company backs CertaPro’s Written Painting Warranty

Our warranty is real, in writing, and backed by both our local team and the national company. In other words, if there are issues on your project after we finish, your project is backed by a national company. Many times, small independent painters offer a warranty, but you cannot get them to come back to fix any issues, or they move over to the next town. Painting is not a perfect science, so while paint issues and warranty items are very rare for us, they do happen.

That’s why you want to make sure the painter will come back to fix the issue. CertaPro treats warranty issues with their full attention and care. You do not have to wonder if you’re covered! And because paint failures usually happen within 6 months of being applied (change of 2 seasons), if the paint hasn’t failed within 2 years of application, it will last for years and years.

Is CertaPro Painters a Local Painter?

This is our favorite question to answer because YES, we are as local as you can get! The money you spend with us provides

How can you really be local if I hear you on the radio all the time? Isn’t that really expensive?

We don’t pay for it ourselves… a group of several individual CertaPro Painters franchise owners works together to jointly pay for select radio advertising in our local areas. The people paying for this are Colorado franchisees like Bob, Greg, Gary, etc… not some big corporate entity.
