Chip Jones, Franchise owner of CertaPro Painters® of Bartlett, has been a member of the Bartlett community for over 26 years. Chip came to Bartlett after serving for over ten years in the United States Army. Chip, and his wife Ann Marie, who have been married for 35 years, have raised four daughters in Bartlett, all of whom graduated from St. Ann Catholic School, and all of whom attended St. Benedict High School.

In addition to being a small business owner, Chip is a Permanent Deacon of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Memphis in West Tennessee. Ordained in 2000, Chip served on the pastoral staff of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bartlett for 18 years, before being reassigned to the Catholic Church of the Incarnation in Collierville, TN for two years, then back to the Catholic Church of the Nativity in Bartlett, where he serves today.

Chip came to CertaPro from the Medical Device industry. “In the medical device world, my responsibility was to be the subject matter expert on my devices, and to make it easy for the surgeon to use my devices to help patients heal. CertaPro provides a similar opportunity to help people; here, though, because painting is personal, my role allows me to help individual people and families to create the environment in their home that brings them happiness and peace. Starting a painting project can be very stressful, with all the uncertainty that comes from inviting strangers into one’s home to perform a very expensive service. My goal is to bring Certainty to this uncertain process, and to make the process of painting less stressful, and even fun!”

Chip is a 1982 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, where he earned a degree in General Engineering, with a concentration in Arabic and French Language Studies. Chip and Ann Marie have four grandchildren, in addition to their four daughters.
