Big Win! Beautiful Kitchen Makeover in West Lake

We updated these dated, stained wood kitchen cabinets. This older home has seen some delicious meals and had regular cooking oil buildup. The first step in this gorgeous kitchen renovation was sanding off the old stain and buildup. From there we used a grippy spray application of an oil-based primer so it would adhere to the wood.

As we removed the doors and hinges, we stayed meticulous and organized to ensure that we could re-hang the cabinets in the correct spot. The last thing we would want is for the doors to look crooked on the wrong hinge. We also took the time to change the hardware!
