Chadsworth Townhomes in Smyrna, GA

Located in Smyrna, Georgia, just a stone’s throw from I-285, Chadsworth is a 198-unit townhome community featuring three-level, 3-to-4 bedroom residences with two-car garages. A popular locale with commuters to downtown Atlanta, Buckhead, and Hartsfiled-Jackson International Airport, Chadsworth is known for luxe touches including curved staircases, fireplaces, and spacious, open kitchens.

Originally constructed in 2003, Chadsworth had seen its last repainting in 2012. Unfortunately, the previous contractor had only done minimal carpentry repairs at the site, which allowed rot to flourish in exposed wood. Chadsworth’s property-management company had worked with CertaPro Painters® of Atlanta before and selected us again because of our experience handling major projects in fee simple communities.

Consisting of eight phases, the project kicked off in April 2018 and wrapped up three months later. Because of the project’s significant scope, duration, and the need to keep disruptions to a minimum, CertaPro Painters® of Atlanta hand-picked a crew of painters with significant experience in multifamily settings.

The project involved painting, drywall patching and light carpentry – namely, repairs to rotted wood and replacement of hard-plank siding. Much of the work was fairly straightforward, but high ladder work was required throughout, especially on the property’s end units.
