Timing is everything, or so the saying goes. Located minutes from I-285 in Dunwoody, 47 Perimeter Center East is a six-story office building that was constructed in the late 1980s. This was a sought after project that the CertaPro Painters® of City of Atlanta/Decatur sales team was actively pursuing. When the time came for the property manager to request bids for a commercial painting project, our team was onsite and was able to take measurements and put together a competitive bid right away.

Work began with painting walls in high-traffic areas, starting with filling cracks and addressing stains as part of the normal prep process. Since then, tenant needs, along with normal wear and tear, have dictated the need for repainting projects in several other parts of the complex. Subsequent projects have included repainting three office suites that were being prepped for the new tenants, touching up trim in several areas, and repainting the men’s and women’s bathrooms.

Apart from the normal challenges presented by work on this scale, the building sees a high volume of daily traffic during the work week, which has meant putting in weekend hours to get the job done – a requirement our crew has been happy to fulfill.
