Paint Colors to Incorporate Into Your Home This Fall

At CertaPro Painters® of Athens, we know most homeowners like to stick to neutral paint colors when it comes to their interiors. Over the past decade we saw a huge interior design trend which was the all-gray and all-white modern theme. However, like with all trends, they come to an end and a new trend takes its place. Neutral paint colors will still be prominent, however, we are seeing a switch to warmer earth tones. We personally like the earth tones because it brings a sense of nature into the home while feeling cozy and inviting. What better time of year to make your home feel cozy than fall?
Burnt Orange
This is going to be a very popular color trend in décor this season but it looks great on interior walls. We have seen this done in rustic style homes, however this can be used in a variety of different ways. Incorporating touches of black, beige and terracotta will take this look to the next level. This paint color would also work well if you have a lot of plants (real or fake) in your home. The orange and green tones really compliment each other nicely.
Brown
Brown was a paint color that got tossed to the side when the modern theme became popular but we say bring it back! A nice brown shade brings created the ultimate cozy atmosphere. It is also neutral enough that you can play around with bright colors when it comes to décor.
Teal
This is a great option if your design style is more on the modern side and you do not want to incorporate those typical earth tones into your home. You can match the teal paint with crisp white and gold accents.
Red
Red can be a bold choice when it comes to painting your walls but if done right this can be a great way to add color into your home. Paired with shades of brown and leather accents, this is a unique and fun way to incorporate earth tones into your home.
Deep Warm Gray
We would recommend staying away from the gray shades with cool undertones. Instead, opt. for warm undertones. Smokey shades warm any space in your house it makes creates an edgy yet intimate atmosphere for you and your guests.
