COVID-19 Update

To protect the health of our customers as well as our employees and contractors CertaPro Painters will provide high-fidelity painting project estimates for both interior and exterior work according to these protocols:

Interior:

Provide fully remote estimates until the Governor’s emergency order expires.

• • • We can use electronic copies of floor plans and/or room measurements provided by the customer.
    • Alternatively, we’ll conduct a brief virtual walkthrough with the customer using video calls (e.g, Google Duo, WhatsApp).

Conduct a preparatory phone call to gather information, discuss details of the project and minimize time needed on-site.

• • • Specific surfaces to be painted (e.g., ceilings, walls, trim), desired outcome (e.g., refresh existing or change colors), any needed repairs.

Optionally perform an on-site estimate conducted with social distancing only after the Governor’s emergency order expires.

• • • No-touch walkthrough and measurements.

Exterior:

Conduct a preparatory phone call to gather information, discuss details of the project, and minimize time needed on-site.

• • • Specific surfaces to be painted (e.g., siding, trim, desks/porches), desired outcome (e.g., refresh existing or change colors), needed carpentry repairs.

Perform a “drive-by” estimate with no need for physical customer interaction whatsoever.

Optionally provide fully remote estimates.

• • • We’ll conduct a virtual walkthrough with the customer using video calls (e.g, Google Duo, WhatsApp).
    • Additionally, we’ll collect homeowner photos/videos and information available from the internet (e.g., Zillow).

Additionally:

All proposals will be provided same or next-day.

• • • We will provide a LIVE proposal review via scheduled remote web conferencing (i.e., Zoom meeting) to ensure everything is accurately recorded, go over various customizations and options, and answer any questions.
    • Unless requested otherwise, proposals will be delivered electronically, eliminating the need for exchanging physical proposal materials.

Finally:

All CertaPro Painters® teams are encouraged to follow preventative safety measures, including the following:

• • • We will clean our hands with soap often, for at least 20 seconds, use hand sanitizer when available, and clean frequently touched surfaces.
    • We will keep a safe distance (6 feet) from people who are sneezing/coughing, and stay home when sick.
    • Before entering a customer’s property, we will communicate that we’re healthy and ask if our customer is as well.
    • Instead of shaking hands we will greet each other verbally without any contact.
    • We will not enter the home, and the crew will use off-site bathroom facilities.

As always, we schedule painting projects to be completed at the customer’s request and on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will schedule projects for deferred completion on request.

All daily progress updates will be conducted with proper social distancing and/or via phone and text messaging.

Payment transactions can be made through our on-line secure payment portal that accepts both e-checks and credit cards.
