Hi, I’m Brian, and I love the paint life! I came to CertaPro Painters with 10 years of experience in the paint industry, having worked at both Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore. I understand the importance of detail, and I believe in providing value to my clients. Completing projects throughout Maryland, the District, and Northern Virginia, has familiarized me with the unique attributes of the Metro area.
My personal paint passion is how color schemes and paint systems can improve the resident experience at elder-care facilities. I believe that paint can play a beneficial role in these communities, from air quality and cleanliness to safety and visibility, to mood and psychology. Paint is a non-intrusive, yet integral part of enhancing the quality of life for this important segment of our community, and that’s very important to me.
While some of my friends may describe me as a paint nerd, I like to think of myself as the Bear Grylls of paint. My adventures have taken me to paint facilities across the country, from the West Coast to the Mid-West, through the Mid-Atlantic to the Southeast. And I learned that each region has its own favorite products to deal with their unique environmental challenges. In my spare time, I like to visit historic homes like Mount Vernon, Monticello, and the Hillwood in Rock Creek Park. I’m also a huge baseball fan. I’ve been to games at 15 of the 30 Major League ballparks and I plan to work my way through the remaining 15 parks as time allows. Architecturally, my favorite parks are Dodger Stadium and the New Yankee Stadium. And yes, I pay attention to the quality of the paint finishes at the parks!
