The Facility:

Dermatology new office build-out; approx. 3800 square feet

Condition of Property:

This was an office building that had been taken down to the studs to transform from an optical office into a dermatology office. Our crew was responsible to come in after the drywallers to paint all surfaces in the office and often fix the messes the drywallers and/or subsequent other trades left for us to clean up and repair.

Special Challenges:

It was a pretty straightforward project; the only challenge was the constant delays and waiting for other trades to complete their work.

Products Used:

Benjamin Moore Scuff-X paint was used on the walls to help minimize future damage from medical carts, etc. It is often used “for environments in which patient health is of primary concern, maintaining clean, unsoiled walls is key.” SCUFF-X resists scuffing; its proprietary formula contains antimicrobial additives to inhibit the growth of mold and mildew on the surface of the paint film, making it an ideal choice for busy waiting areas, exam rooms and laboratories in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes and therapeutic facilities.
