Stucco Renovation Project in Calgary, AB
In May 2020, CertaPro Painters® of Calgary & Central Alberta took on the task of renovating this stucco home in Calgary. The residence was transformed from a 1990’s style pink to a modern grey, adding massive street appeal. The painting, along with a refinished deck, significantly enhanced the condition and look of the home. CHALLENGES:Exterior home renovation presents its own set of challenges. The right equipment is necessary to reach all areas of the home and proper coordination between the team is essential for efficient work. Stucco homes may also need repair in the finish before painting can begin.

CONDITIONS:
- Pink color – The color of the home required a complete repainting to remove the pink look of the exterior
- Worn and cracked stucco – The stucco needed some small repairs due to wear over they years
- Deck Finish – The deck needed to be completely stripped before refinishing
PROJECT INVOLVEMENT:
- Prep – The exterior of the home was cleaned and prepped, repairing small parts of the stucco and stripping the deck.
- Paint – The house was refinished with a grey paint and a finish was applied to the deck.
