CertaPro Painters has teamed up with Lancaster Sports Association to hold a Paint Run\/Walk.<\/div>\n

Our Paint Run\/Walk is a 5K and untimed run\/walk. At each kilometer mark, Paint Runners\/Walkers are sprayed with a powdered paint from head to toe, each kilometer marks a different color paint. Start your morning in your white shirt and end the morning in a rainbow of color!<\/p>\n

Registration opens at 7:00 am.<\/p>\n

The powdered paint that will be used is made from a blend of food-grade cornstarch, FD&C and D&C dyes (food, drug, and cosmetic dyes) and baking soda.<\/p>\n

  • Is the Paint Run timed?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    The Paint Run is an untimed event. For anyone who wants a finish time, we suggest self-timing.<\/p>\n

    • Can I bring my dog\/pet?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      For the safety of our runners and animal friends, we do not allow animals at our race.<\/p>\n

      • Do I have to be an experienced runner to participate?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        No. There are plenty of great 5ks out there that test speed and performance. However, The Paint Run is a non-competitive and untimed 5k filled with color that you can experience with friends and family. You\u2019re free to run, jog, or walk!<\/p>\n

        • Can a child participate?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          If your child can cover the three miles of The Paint Run course (while running, jogging, walking, or strolling), they can absolutely participate!<\/p>\n

          • Will the paint ruin my clothes or shoes?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            The color mostly washes out after the event. As with anything dirty, the sooner you wash it the better. It\u2019s best to wear items that you wouldn\u2019t mind getting colorful. We suggest washing items you wore to The Paint Run separately from your other laundry.<\/p>\n

            • Is it safe to bring my camera or phone into paint areas?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              To be totally safe, we always recommend covering cameras\/phones with a protective dust wrap. The Color Run is not liable for any damage that might be done to your phone or camera!<\/p>\n

              • Is the Paint Run safe?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                The powder is all certified non-toxic. We recommend wearing sunglasses or goggles, and a bandana over your mouth and nose in the color zones just for extra protection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
