This is Sara Morlock, Owner of CertaPro Painters with my husband Kelly and proudly serving the SW Metro communities.<\/p>\n

With the assistance of Abi Zechmeister, Color Program Supervisor with Sherwin Williams, I have put together some of my color favorites as well as popular color trends for 2017.<\/p>\n

Gray \u2013 is the new neutral. It can be used anywhere! Works great in most homes. People tend to think if they have oak or maple, they can\u2019t use Gray. However, we find a warm gray can really make wood work pop! A couple of my favorites are Sherwin Williams (SW) 7015 Repose Gray & 7017 Dorian Gray. They are beautiful colors both inside & out!
\n\"\"Tan \u2013 The Trusted Standby \u2013 can be used anywhere! Works great in most homes. SW 6106 Kilim Beige is my go to color for repaints to put a home on the market. SW 7037 Balanced Beige is a warm tan without being too yellow or pink. Also works great with the grays! Yes, Grays & Tans can work together; they just have to be the right tones so they don\u2019t fight!\"\"SW 6204 Sea Salt is a very popular bathroom color. It is a beautiful light green with gray undertones that compliments both grays and tans. Also works great in bedrooms or an office. Not too much color yet just enough. Sea salt is a Pinterest favorite! \u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

SW 6244 Naval is a navy \u2013 which is the new HOT color! We are seeing it everywhere! Entries, accent walls and bathrooms. Gives a very elegant look. We are seeing Naval for wall color as well as home d\u00e9cor\u2026.artwork, blankets, pillows, etc. It is a perfect accent color to compliment more neutral colors in a main living area \u2013 such as the above mentioned grays and tans.\"\"<\/p>\n

SW 7729 Lemon Verbena \u2013 is an awesome green \u2013 not too deep & not too bright. Works great with oak & maple. Popular in kitchens, living rooms & bedrooms.\"\"<\/p>\n

Last but not least, one of my personal favorites, so personal it is on the walls of my dining room and powder room, SW 6263 Exclusive Plum. This is a Grown Up purple which lives in the gray family. A beautiful complimentary color to most grays and tans. Truly stunning!\"\"<\/p>\n
