Brick Home Painters
Conditions:
This was a lovely home in good condition with the exception of a few areas of wood needing repair. It had been many years since it was last painted, and the homeowner was wanting to paint the brick to update the look of the home.
Challenges:
The vinyl trim around windows was also unpainted, and we primed that with a specialty primer to ensure adhesion of the finish paint. We also had to assist the homeowner in selecting a stain color for the pergola that would be attractive with the new home color.
Project Involvement:
The entire home was power washed to ensure clean surfaces, and we replaced a few panels of wood that were rotted. All the unpainted brick was primed with a masonry primer, and then home was painted with a new color. The front door was painted with an accent color, and as a final step, we restained the rear pergola.
