Meet Benjamin – Third Generation Painter, First Generation Cross Stitcher
Benjamin has lived in Calgary for the past 5 years. He has extensive experience with customer service, both in person and on the phone, spanning over 12 years. He was previously a store manager with Dulux Paints. He brings a wealth of product knowledge and expertise to deliver our promise to guarantee our work.
Fun Fact: Benjamin’s favorite residential paint color is Revere Pewter made by Benjamin Moore, and his favorite commercial paint color is Designer Grey made by PPG. His life is made up of shades of grey and he loves all of them.
The Paint Psychologist
Benjamin chose to work at CertaPro Painters® of South Calgary because he saw the potential for career growth, new challengers, and the ability to expand upon pre-existing work experience. He was also excited about the opportunity to help beautify the local Calgary community.
Since joining CertaPro, Benjamin has experienced and enjoyed an eclectic career so far, gaining extensive experience with customer service. He values integrity, kindness, training and development of others, and strongly believes that working together translates into success – this is just one of the many reasons Benjamin is a valued member of the CertaPro team. He has been able to use his Bachelor of Psychology degree in combination with his operational experience from previous roles to excel in the commercial paint world. He looks for any opportunity to help freshen a professional workplace or community with years of paint background, sound advice, strong communication, and professional proposals attached to intuitive estimates.

Impacting the Community
In his role as the Commercial Manager, Benjamin works to build strong, lasting relationships with new and pre-existing commercial accounts and contacts. He seeks out RFPs through outreach programs, word of mouth, customers referrals, as well as through new clients. He works to generate intuitive estimates that are in line with market expectation while always looking to grow a client’s knowledge of the painting industry, build trust, reflect integrity, and deliver passion for painting projects big or small.
Benjamin’s daily work responsibilities include estimating projects, generating proposals, and ensuring all commercial work is completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.

Work-Life-Music-Sports Balance
Benjamin is a passionate, motivated individual who enjoys participating in and learning about home renovation and interior design – even when he’s not a work. His hobbies include cross stitch, scuba diving, and music. He is a talented artist and composes music for both the guitar and violin.
