CertaPro Painters\u00ae<\/sup> of San Mateo was asked to assist with a historic home painting project in October 2020. This building is about 100 years old and probably hadn’t been painted in over 20 years. The house has mostly Overlapping Wood Siding. This Siding was peeling pretty badly to say the least. The building was peeling on all sides. It didn’t help that the horizontal gaps on the Wood Siding had been caulked in the past.<\/p>\n This project involved a lot of sanding. A good majority of the Siding was sanded down to bare wood. We also primed the whole building after we were done doing the prep.
