<\/p>\nCertaPro Painters of Roswell proudly joined forces with CRE CARES\u2122 and BOMA Georgia to support the vital work of Decatur Cooperative Ministry (DCM). CRE CARES\u2122 connects commercial real estate professionals and industry service providers to lend assistance to nonprofit organizations, addressing essential community needs.<\/p>\n
For this initiative, CertaPro Painters of Roswell contributed their expertise to a variety of painting and carpentry projects. These efforts helped transform and improve the facilities at DCM, creating a safer, more welcoming environment for the families they serve. The projects included not only painting but also minor carpentry and construction enhancements, showcasing a commitment to excellence and community impact.<\/p>\n
BOMA Georgia also supported the mission by contributing to landscaping, drainage, irrigation, cleaning, roofing, organizing, and building out other facility needs. Together, these collaborative efforts addressed crucial upgrades that help Decatur Cooperative Ministry fulfill their mission.<\/p>\n
Decatur Cooperative Ministry\u2019s mission is to assist families facing homelessness by helping them find safe, stable housing and build lives filled with peace, hope, and opportunity. Established in 1969, DCM initially served as a seed-planting organization, identifying and addressing local needs through programs eventually handed over to local churches.<\/p>\n
By the 1980s, the organization narrowed its focus to transitional housing, shelter, and homelessness prevention programs. These services have since provided essential support, enabling families to prevent, endure, and ultimately overcome homelessness.<\/p>\n
Thanks to the collective dedication of CRE CARES\u2122, CertaPro Painters of Roswell, BOMA Georgia, and others, DCM’s facilities are now better equipped to continue their life-changing work in the community.<\/p>\n
