The project involved foundation repair, soft power washing, scraping, spot priming, and painting. The color change had to be performed while adhering to EPA guidelines throughout the entire process.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Challenges<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Due to lead paint concerns, an EPA Lead Certified team was essential. Our crew took several precautions, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducting a visual inspection and lead assessment<\/li>\n<li>Establishing a containment zone with plastic sheeting<\/li>\n<li>Sealing windows and doors<\/li>\n<li>Marking exclusion areas<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The team wore personal protective equipment (PPE) and utilized lead-safe practices, such as wet sanding instead of power sanding. After the project, a HEPA vacuum ensured all debris was cleared, and lead-contaminated materials were disposed of properly.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Timeline<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>This project was completed in just seven days.
