RedHill Springs Exterior Painting Project in Plano, TX
RedHill Springs is a HOA community in Plano, TX. It consists of 74 homes and 16 separate buildings. The project was to repaint all exterior surfaces on all the buildings. There were four different color schemes used on the 16 buildings. You can learn more about this exterior painting project below.
Conditions:
Conditions:The buildings had not been painted in many years and most were badly faded from the Texas weather. Many of the homes are rental properties and some of them were very poorly maintained.
Challenges:
The work was done during a time of paint shortages so it required extra attention to the logistics of having the right amount and color of paint available at the right time. Many rear gates were not unlocked for us so the job required an extraordinary amount of persistence with some of the residents to get them to cooperate and give us access to the rear of their homes.
Project Involvement:
Power washing (both the buildings and the driveways), caulking, painting, and light carpentry with some replacement of rotted wood.
Special Equipment or Techniques:
No special equipment was required. This project took 6 months to complete. The work was done in three phases that were not continuous.
