You will find some for significantly cheaper than you would if you bought a new one. You can easily fix it up with some paint.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Use a Textile or Blanket<\/strong> \u2013 This is such an easy way to give the illusion of a headboard. It is as simple as nailing it into the wall above the bed. Just make sure it is the same size as the bed or a little longer. You can also hang a rod above the bed and then drape the textile or blanket over it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paint the Bottom Half of the Wall<\/strong> \u2013 Painting the bottom half of the wall a different color gives the illusion of a headboard.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Use Plywood<\/strong> \u2013 This is a great option because you have the creative freedom to make it look exactly how you want it to.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stackable Cubes<\/strong> \u2013 Placing stackable cubes behind your bed gives you a headboard along with significantly more storage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Utilize Old Shutters<\/strong> \u2013 If you happen to have old shutters laying around or you find them at a thrift store put them to use!
